Background on Alice Cullen.
Alice Cullen is the youngest of the Cullen clan. She is the
only member of the Cullen family not to be turned into a
vampire by Carlisle. In fact it was a mystery how she became a
vampire until the family researched her background. It emerged
that she came from Biloxi, Mississippi and is actually 107. As
a human child she was committed to a mental institution because
she could see the future. This scared her human family in the
small and conservative town of Biloxi. Whilst in the
institution she was turned into a vampire by a member of
staff.
Her ability to she into the future as a human is increased
as a vampire such that she can see what is happening to the
people around her. In particular she sees what Edward and Bella
are doing and comes to their aid at various stages of the
story.
She is described as bubbly, petite and plucky. She loves to
be having fun and having party. She can also pack a punch too.
She is involved in defending her friends and family against
various foes, like the Volturi and newborn vampires. The

appearance and is perfectly offset by her short cut hair which
shows off her neck.
